Joined VAA same day as Captain Peter Standing. (9th September1950 - 8th April 2000) Norman Lees was killed on Saturday 8th April, while checking out the new owner of a rare two seat version of the spitfire. Norman was well known for his displays in vintage aircraft, he served in the Royal Navy and fought in the Falklands Conflict
