REVIEW OF PILOT DEATH

Rodney SKIDMORE (2002)

On 12 June 2002 Rodney Skidmore, aged 39, died along with his co-pilot when the Lynx helicopter they were flying came down in the Atlantic Ocean. An officer on board survived the crash. The inquest was held at West Dorset Coroner’s Court in June 2003. A verdict of Accidental Death was returned.
